Anatomy of a cornelius keg
I want to show a diagram of a cornelius keg along with the breakdown of parts for one. It's pretty simple to disassemble this type of keg, which makes it so great for homebrewers. Really the only difference between the pin lock and ball lock kegs are the post, the breakdown should be the same. There are four addtional O-rings that are in the photo below that I choose not to take off since there are new which are on the post and poppets.
Pin lock posts for a cornelius keg. Notice that the posts are have different pins on each. The 3 pin post is for the liquid out and the 2 pin post if for the gas in.
